Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Forgot to ask, my Solardashboard is freezing up all the time and I have to remove then re insert the network cable to get it going again. It seems to have got a lot more frequent over the last few weeks happening pretty much every day. I'e even ejected the memory card and its still doing it. Is the...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Hi zrusavpt, You should be seeing a flash of Rx, tx lights on the rs484 converter. They will flash in unison. From your post it would see it's a case of epever not responding or some issue with communication signal path. Please check with multimeter continuity of signal and get back. Also post epeve...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Is there a specific reason for the coloured gauges to appear maxed out @ PV Watts = 117 PV Volts = 18 PV Amps = 7 Battery Volts = 14 Battery Amps = 8 Or do I have something setup wrong Hi Graham, the gauges will auto-scale based on the current daily high for each metric. Does that answer your quest...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Hello, I just purchased the Solar Dashboard device in January and have the problem where it stops logging to the SD card. Is there an update that resolves this issue? Can I send the unit back for an updated version? I see that there is some type of upgrade kit that can be purchased for version 2. H...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Another project update: We are adding ability to run the webserver on a different port, this will facilitate port forwarding to access the dashboard remotely. Re: Solar Dashboard Project
On my unmodified v3 hardware, I had to remove the PROGJUMP1 and PROGJUMP2 jumpers in order to flash the 3.1 code...otherwise I could not connect to the device. Also, FWIW, the power consumption I measure for the v3 hardware for both the 3.0 and 3.1 code is ~32 ma @ a reported 12.8v. Initial reboot ...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Any updates or further developments? Hi Xion2000. ALL ORDERS AFTER FEB 19, 2020 come with the upgrade pre-installed. No need for any of the below! We are releasing V3.1 today. It fixes a bug that can cause the SD card to lock up and require manual reset. Unfortunately it requires a hardware update ...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Can anyone please tell me what type of battery should be fitted inside, mine didn't come with on (I'm not complaining) but I can't find any reference to the type or voltage. Hi Graham, It's a CR1220 lithium. It's needed for V3 firmware, the timekeeping depends on it. I will send all V2 owners who w...
