Re: Beta Testers wanted

Thanks Larry. The latest firmware on the edge channel I'm testing allows selecting default views in the settings menu, and shows battery temperature as a new metric. To force an update, click reboot under power menu. Updates only happen on reboot.

Beta Testers wanted

Hi all, I'm looking for some help testing the latest solar dashboard software. Warning: Beta testers will receive the latest development firmware through the update channel automatically. While we don't intend to break anything, it's possible that a beta software will cause functions to break and/or...

Re: Connection to cloud issue

Yea so first of all that signal is low... so it might work or it might not. Also this is why you're seeing the update error message, because the signal is quite low. It's better to have a signal of 75 or lower. But anyway, the next step is to click on the "cloud" icon when connected locall...

Re: Connection to cloud issue

Hi Craig, To get the cloud working you need to be connected locally, then click on cloud icon. Enter your email exactly as you used when registering for the cloud service. Then enter the API key exactly, it's best to copy and paste. Then click save and wait 30 seconds. If the spinny wheel persists, ...

Re: New Feature Request Thread for Solar Dashboard

I would like to up-vote the feature request to add charge controller controls to the dashboard. It would be nice to be able to remotely shut down the load, and adjust things like low temperature disconnect etc. A simpler request I have is the ability to customize my voltage range... Thanks for the ...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project

Hi Jonathan, thanks for the quick reply. Every 5 mins or so, but the error disappears and doesn’t get logged. The issue may be more that it confuses the dashboard and sometimes crashes it. Especially when trying to connect to 192.162.4.1 via an iPhone, it would take at least 15mins and many a retry...

Re: Solar dashboard Cloud API

I'm trying to use the API to access my dashboard and record information to Google sheets. I'm not sure if the authentication method is not supported by the JSON import method I found, but I am having a hard time understanding the API site. The documentation doesn't seem to give a full explanation o...

Re: Solar Dashboard Project

Hi all I need to pick the hive mind. I have an epever 4210 and a mt50 monitor. I have breadboarded the solar dashboard to get a feel for it and seems to work great. The issue I have is I have added 3 rj45 connectors in parallel to make a mini hub to have all 3 units plugged in. It seems to work oth...
