Steamforged Games has also announced the first look and the key features of its Dark Souls tabletop roleplaying game RuneScape Gold, coming in spring 2022. First teased in December with the trailer's surprise premiere Steamforged can now announce Dark Souls: The Roleplaying Game will be a stand-alone RPG, powered by rules of the fifth edition enhanced with Dark Souls mechanics.
Drawing inspiration from the rich history as well as the award-winning gameplay of the Dark Souls video games by From Software and Bandai Namco Entertainment within the lavishly illustrated hardback , core book, players will find bespoke character classes, a brand-new magic system and a complete book full of Dark Souls creatures.
The Steamforged Dark Souls tabletop range has sold over 500,000 units with its total retail amount of around $40 million. Mat Hart, Creative director and chief creative officer of Steamforged Games, stated: "Dark Souls has been a key IP for Steamforged from the beginning, and one very close to our hearts, so the fact that we finally brought Dark Souls to the tabletop as a roleplaying experience is an absolute thrill for us as well as the people who love it."
This news is accompanied by an update for Old School Runescape with a special focus upon Iron Man. Along with bug fixes, this update includes a group chat and a loot stream that includes quest completion, combat achievements , and milestones for level making an announcement on the chat RuneScape Gold For Sale. There's another update planned in the coming days that will focus on expanding storage for groups as well as emergency teleport shards accessing the homes of group members.
