Yep! I still need to look into the totals and verify the numbers exactly, it's going to be done soon.
Solar Dashboard Project
Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Yes, I am looking to do something more graphic with the topograph view, for now it's a placeholder. I'm thinking showing the solar panels, battery, any load etc. I am open to ideas. You have some experience laying our your Graphana page, any comments on what I should do?
Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Hi Jonathan
Have you considered adding graph/numbers from connected Inverters? My system consist of ePever charger and Inverter both connected through a RS485 extender like on this drawing. Currently I have replaced the MT75 with the Snektek module, so I have access to both ePever and Snektek clouds. But the Snektek module could adress both solar charger (ID=1) and Inverter (ID= 3) if Software could do that. The ePever cloud can not do that with one dongle but you must have separate dongles connected (one for Solar charger and one for Inverter).

Hi Fred thanks for sharing your setup. What kind of info does the inverter provide? I tried looking for a register list for the inverters but I can't easily find it.fredivar wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 3:05 pmHi Jonathan

For our purpose I think we will try to keep our products one to one, so each device has a Solar Dashboard attached, this way it becomes more maintainable and flexible without needing all kinds of adapters and wires.
Re: Solar Dashboard Project
I've confirmed the totals are accurate on epever, renogy, victron
Re: Solar Dashboard Project
Gosh not sure. I will think about that!jonathan wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 12:02 amYes, I am looking to do something more graphic with the topograph view, for now it's a placeholder. Re: Solar Dashboard Project
@jonathan my totals actually stopped working in HA. did anything change 6.0-9107c0-2023-02-28-19-21? PV Generated Today now shows Zero but in snektek dashboard it shows 1.417kwh and this was working just a few days ago.
Code: Select all

Yes I changed some names in cur_data, see below:randr wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 8:51 pm@jonathan my totals actually stopped working in HA. did anything change 6.0-9107c0-2023-02-28-19-21? Re: Solar Dashboard Project
that did indeed fix issue. Is this documented anywhere? maybe update the HA thread with new code?
Re: Solar Dashboard Project
@jonathan, I have noticed that temperature auto scaling does not function below Zero degrees Celsius. Not sure if it has always been so ,but certainly on my Version shown in attachments
