My SOlar dashboard is conected to an epever Tracer BN works fine for the most part other than the one curiosity that in the last year I've hard the board it shows that it has rebooted 575 times (as of this morning) and the "last updated" shows "1969-12-31T19:00:00-05:00" is this because it doesn't have a RTC?
Reboot Count: 575
Last Updated: 1969-12-31T19:00:00-05:00
I'm on the following firmware:
Version: 6.0-f44f74-2023-02-24-06-45
Update Channel: stable
Controller Type: epever-rs485
Version Notes: Changed MODBUS to asynchronous operation (affects EPEVER, RENOGY, SIGINEER), Added sensors for PLUS model
Reboots
Re: Reboots
Hey so 1 reboot per day is programmed and then it's also normal for it to reboot from time to time. So I would say it's fine for running a year.
The timestamp being wrong just means the time was not set at the last reboot. Not unusual.
